This course is open to participants of “Feminism and Democracy” and newcomers

The course comprises 6 two-hour sessions in English

As we continue to strive for gender equality, we find many realms where feminism can inform our thinking. In this course, we will continue exploring to move the needle towards gender equality, delving into these topics:

  • Feminism and family
  • Feminism and religion
  • Feminism and nationality
  • Feminism and militarism
  • Violence against women
  • Women and peace

The course will be taught via interactive workshops, employing the Adam Institute’s award-winning “Betzavta – the Adam Institute’s Facilitation Method“, taught by its creator, Dr. Uki Maroshek-Klarman. The award-winning “Betzavta” method is rooted in an empirical approach to civic education, interpersonal communication and conflict resolution. The course allows for vibrancy, excitement and emotional verve in the virtual classroom.

Participants will receive a certificate upon course completion. This certificate allows “Betzavta” training graduates to facilitate this course to other groups; for those new to our innovative method, this course provides a window into the subject matter and process. One can join our group facilitation courses taught around the world in various countries and languages, including English, Arabic, Hebrew, German and Polish.
